MAKING A DOWNPAYMENT AND/OR ANY PREPAYMENT TO US FOR OUR SERVICES, YOU ARE ACEPTING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS HERE BELOW:
Opulent Greece is the commercial trading name of Dimitriοs Kyrchanidis, sole proprietor, registered and operating under the laws of the Hellenic Republic
THE SERVICES INCLUDED IN EACH TRIP ARE STRICTLY LIMITED TO THOSE SPECIFICALLY MENTIONED IN THE SECTION TITLED “INCLUDED IN THE TRIP” OF THE FINAL ITINERARY.
1. Deposit and Payment Policy
A minimum non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total trip cost per person is required in order to secure and confirm all reservations. The deposit will be applied toward the final cost of the trip.
Deposits are primarily used for securing accommodations, transportation services, ferry or airline tickets and other advance payments to suppliers, many of which are non-refundable.
The required deposit amount may vary depending on the nature of the itinerary and services included and will be communicated to the traveler accordingly.
No booking or reservation shall be considered confirmed until the required deposit has been received by Opulent Greece.
Final payment must be completed no later than 60 days prior to the departure date. For reservations made within 60 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of confirmation.
Failure to complete payments within the required timeframes may result in cancellation of the trip and associated reservations.
2. Change and Cancellation Policy:
For packages including accommodation :
• 60+ Days prior to departure: non-refundable deposit penalty
• 59 – 46 days prior to departure: 25% penalty of total remaining amount
• 45 – 31 Days prior to departure: 50% penalty of total remaining amount
• Within 30 Days prior to arrival: 100% penalty of total remaining amount
• No refunds will be made for no-shows, early departures or unused services
• All refund requests must be made in writing and are processed within 30 to 60 days
In case the trip includes yacht charters, villas and other less usual elements, then the payment and cancellation policy will be advised on a case by case basis to the traveler.
Any changes to the trip must be requested clearly and in writing to Opulent Greece and in a timely manner.
3. Travel Insurance:
Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all travelers participating in a trip organized by Opulent Greece. We highly encourage the purchase of comprehensive travel insurance coverage, including trip cancellation, medical expenses, travel disruptions and “cancel for any reason” protection where available.
Opulent Greece maintains all legally required business liability and insolvency protections in accordance with Greek tourism regulations; however, travelers remain personally responsible for obtaining their own individual travel insurance coverage.
4. Accuracy of information, Travel Documents and Identification:
Travelers are solely responsible for ensuring they possess valid passports, visas and any other required travel documentation necessary for participation in the trip. Failure to obtain or present valid travel documents shall not constitute grounds for cancellation, refund or compensation. Travelers are also responsible for verifying that all names and personal details provided for bookings exactly match the information stated in their passport or official travel documents.
5. Public Holidays, Seasonal Availability:
During local or national holidays, peak periods or off season months, certain facilities, attractions, restaurants, museums, shops, sightseeing services or activities may operate with limited schedules or reduced availability.
While Opulent Greece always aims to inform travelers accordingly and plan the best possible experience, we cannot guarantee the availability of all services, venues or attractions at all times
6. Air & Sea Transportation:
Airline and ferry tickets are generally non-refundable and non-transferable once issued and may require full payment at the time of confirmation. Any modifications to tickets may result in additional charges or may not be permitted, depending on the fare rules and policies of the transportation provider.
All transportation services remain subject to the terms, conditions and operational policies of the respective airline, ferry company or transportation operator.
7. Flight and Ferry Transportation Disruptions:
Schedule changes, delays, cancellations or operational modifications made by airlines, ferry companies, cruise operators or other transportation providers are beyond the control of Opulent Greece.
Opulent Greece shall not be held responsible for missed connections, delays, route changes or disruptions caused by transportation providers, weather conditions, strikes, port authority decisions or other operational circumstances.
In such cases, the respective operator shall determine any alternative arrangements, compensation or amenities offered to travelers according to their own policies and regulations.
8. Cruises:
Cruise accommodations, vessels, itineraries and schedules are provided according to the information available at the time of booking. Cruise operators reserve the right to modify vessels, routes, ports, schedules or accommodations due to operational, weather or safety reasons. Any such changes remain under the responsibility of the cruise operator and are outside the control of Opulent Greece.
9. Intermediary relationship:
Opulent Greece acts as an intermediary between travelers and independent third party suppliers including hotels, transportation providers, guides, activity operators, cruise companies and other travel service providers. Although we carefully select our partners and suppliers, Opulent Greece cannot be held responsible for acts, omissions, delays, cancellations, injuries, losses or service disruptions caused by third party providers or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. All services provided by third party suppliers remain subject to their own terms, conditions and operational policies.
10. Pricing Validity and Dynamic Rates
All quotations and travel proposals provided by Opulent Greece are subject to a specific validity period, which will be clearly stated within the offer or itinerary provided to the traveler.
Travel services in Greece, including accommodations, flights, ferries, villas, cruises and experiences, operate under dynamic pricing and availability conditions. Prices and availability may change without prior notice until a deposit payment has been received and confirmed by Opulent Greece.
Opulent Greece cannot guarantee the same pricing, availability or conditions after the expiration of the validity period of a quotation.
11. Pricing and availability:
Supplier pricing and availability may change without notice. You agree that we are not responsible for any errors or omissions in any quotes, advertisements, including on our website, resulting in inventory, content, or pricing discrepancies nor are we responsible for any errors or omissions that may occur as a result of incorrect information from third parties.
12. Processing Fees and Banking Charges
Depending on the country of origin, payment method, bank institution or card issuer, additional transaction, currency conversion, intermediary banking or card processing fees may apply.
Any such charges imposed by financial institutions, payment gateways or card providers are the responsibility of the traveler. Opulent Greece must receive the full agreed amount stated in the invoice or payment request.
13. Taxes and Included Charges
All prices provided by Opulent Greece include all applicable taxes and legal charges unless otherwise clearly stated in writing.
14. Weather Conditions and Operational Changes
Certain travel services and experiences in Greece, including but not limited to ferry crossings, yacht charters, cruises, helicopter transfers, sea excursions and water-based activities, are dependent on weather conditions and operational safety regulations.
Changes, delays, route modifications or cancellations due to weather conditions, sea conditions, port authority instructions or safety decisions are beyond the control and responsibility of Opulent Greece.
In such cases, suppliers and operators reserve the right to amend schedules, routes or services accordingly.
15. Accommodation Tax / Climate Resilience Tax
In accordance with Greek legislation, accommodations in Greece may be subject to a mandatory Climate Resilience Tax imposed by the Greek government.
Unless otherwise clearly stated in writing within the itinerary or offer, this tax is payable directly by the traveler at the accommodation property during check in or check out.
The amount of this tax may vary depending on accommodation category and travel period.
16. Independent Activities and Third Party Services
Opulent Greece shall not be responsible for any independently arranged activities, services, excursions, transportation, reservations or experiences booked directly by the traveler outside the agreed itinerary and services provided by Opulent Greece.
Any such independently arranged services are undertaken entirely at the traveler’s own responsibility and risk.
17. Photography and Promotional Use
Opulent Greece may use photographs, reviews, testimonials or other feedback voluntarily shared by travelers for promotional, marketing or social media purposes, unless the traveler explicitly requests otherwise in writing.
18. Our liability
By participating in a trip organized by Opulent Greece, travelers acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with travel and related activities. Opulent Greece acts solely as an intermediary between travelers and independent suppliers such as hotels, transportation providers, cruise operators, activity providers and other third party services. While we carefully select our partners, Opulent Greece shall not be held responsible for acts, omissions, delays, cancellations, injuries, losses, damages or disruptions caused by third party suppliers or events beyond our reasonable control. Opulent Greece shall not be liable for indirect, consequential or unforeseen losses, additional expenses, loss of enjoyment, business losses or disruptions that do not directly result from our own negligence or breach of agreement. In any event, the maximum liability of Opulent Greece for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by the traveler for the specific trip. Travelers remain responsible for any damages, losses or additional costs caused by their own actions or behavior during the trip.
19. Travelers Responsibilities
Travelers are responsible for providing accurate information and responding in a timely manner during the planning process in order to avoid delays in arranging their trip. It is the traveler’s responsibility to review all travel documents carefully and immediately inform Opulent Greece of any errors or discrepancies. Travelers are also responsible for ensuring they hold valid passports, visas, insurance and any other required travel documentation. Opulent Greece shall not be held responsible for delays, additional costs or disruptions caused by incomplete, inaccurate or expired travel documents. Travelers are expected to behave respectfully and responsibly throughout the trip. Opulent Greece reserves the right to cancel or modify travel arrangements in cases of inappropriate, disruptive or unsafe behavior, without obligation for refunds or compensation.
20. Force Majeure
Opulent Greece shall not be held responsible for disruptions, delays, closures or modifications caused by strikes, labor unions, ferry unions, transportation disruptions, archaeological site closures, government decisions, public demonstrations, extreme weather conditions, wildfires or other operational interruptions beyond our control.
21. Health
Certain activities offered during a trip may involve physical activity, outdoor conditions, sea conditions or other elements requiring a reasonable level of health and physical condition. By participating in such activities, travelers confirm that they are physically able to participate safely and voluntarily assume any associated risks. Opulent Greece shall not be held responsible for injuries, discomfort, incidents or inability to participate resulting from a traveler’s physical condition, medical limitations or personal negligence.
22. Complaints
Opulent Greece is committed to providing a high level of service and traveler satisfaction throughout every trip. In the event that any issue or concern arises during your travels, travelers are encouraged to contact our office promptly by phone or email and provide full details of the matter so that we may attempt to resolve it in a timely and reasonable manner. If a concern cannot be resolved during the course of the trip, any formal complaint must be submitted to Opulent Greece in writing within 14 days following the completion of the trip.
23. Subjective Preferences and Destination Experience
Travel experiences are inherently personal and subjective in nature. Personal preferences regarding destination atmosphere, hotel style, aesthetics, weather conditions, local culture, restaurant preferences, beach conditions, nightlife, crowds or overall destination “vibe” shall not constitute valid grounds for refunds, compensation or disputes, provided that the services booked and agreed upon have been delivered as confirmed.
All matters arising are subject to the laws of the Hellenic Republic without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
